Akye or Attie is a language spoken in the southeast of the Ivory Coast by the Attie people. It is one of the languages with a small population and is considered an isolate. Thus Akye is a language that contains a phonological and grammatical system uncommon among the Akwa languages known today.
This language contains an estimated 381,000 speakers (1993 figures).
