Somali(Af-Soomaali in Somali, pronounced /æf sɔːˈmɑːli/) is a Chamito-Semitic language of the Cushitic language family. It is spoken by more than 35 million speakers, mainly in the Horn of Africa. Along with Arabic, Somali is an official language of Somalia. In Djibouti, Somali has the status of « national language ».
