The Luwo, also called Luo, are a grouping of Nilotic peoples found in East Africa. They reside in Kenya’s Nyanza province and also in Uganda, Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia. And South Sudan, where they originated.
According to 2009 statistics in Kenya, 4.044.440 people are considered luwo.
