Learn moussey language

Moussey is a Chadian language spoken in the regions of East Mayo-Kebbi and also Tandjilé in Chad. It is also spoken across the border from Cameroon in the extreme northern region of the Mayo-Danay department, east of Guéré. It is one of the Masa languages.

In Chad, Moussey, like all national languages, has no official status. Article 9 of the constitution states that « the official languages are French and Arabic. The law sets the conditions for the promotion and development of national languages.
