Learn Gbaya Language

Gbaya is a language spoken in eastern Cameroon and by 857,500 people in the Central African Republic.

Baya, also known as Gbaya, is a sub-group of the Niger-Congolese languages. Baya includes the following languages: Lay, Mbusuku, Yaayuwee (the most widely spoken), Ganginda, Mondome, Dooka, Gaymona and Yaangele. This language is spoken by more than 5000 people (the GBayas) in the CAR, it is also found in Nigeria, Cameroon and Congo.
