Bubi or Bube is a Bantu language from Central Africa. It is spoken in Equatorial Guinea on the island of Bioko where the capital, Malabo, is situated, as well as in Cameroon and Gabon.

Bubi is an African language that keeps its origins from the very soil where it lives. But with the coming of the Spanish, English, and then Europeans. The original indigenous language to preserve a large number of English and then Spanish words in its vocabulary. Thus the language contains 1⁄3 of English words, 1⁄3 of Spanish words and the rest of the African dialects which were present on the island before colonization. Thus, speakers of Bubi speak either English or Spanish.

So the total population of speakers is estimated at 60,000.
