Bassa, also called Basaá, is a Bantu language mainly spoken in Cameroon. It counts a little more than 2,000,000 speakers (5% of the Cameroonian population). They are found in the city of Edéa, and mostly between Douala and Yaounde. It is the traditional language of the Bassa people.
