Haoussa is an African language spoken in West Africa, it is the official language in northern Nigeria, a national language in Niger.
Haoussa is also in Benin, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Sudan, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Ghana, Chad and Togo. It is one of the three main languages spoken and learned in Nigeria along with Igboand Yoruba.
